Meet the Ugarte Family
"We enjoy cooking together, family game nights and having family movie nights. Another thing we enjoy doing as a family is going for walks down by the lakefront. My kids also enjoy riding their bikes. A fun fact about us would be we enjoy having breakfast on our back deck, mainly when it's warm outside! We just love our home so much! The kids enjoy having their own space and playing baseball in our backyard. They get to express themselves by decorating their bedrooms. I enjoy watching them play and run around our home! As for Habitat, I love the support they give us as new homeowners! From the beginning of the process all the way through the staff and volunteers are very nice! The staff at Habitat's response to any concerns we have as homeowners are their priority and they always help with a solution or try to find a great solution! For that, I will always be grateful for Habitat! Thank you Habitat for Humanity of Kenosha!"

Meet the Concepcion Family
“Being a part of Habitat is a life-changing commitment I will be forever grateful for. It allowed me to grow not only as a community member but as a father and husband. Everyone who has mentored, trained, and befriended us through this process has been nothing but selfless. Starting this process I wanted to improve my community for my children and future generations. Now we are being the change we want to see. The gratitude I have is infinite.” said Ricky. “Getting accepted to receive a home is one of the gifts we will forever cherish. However, the real gift is getting the opportunity to connect with the community, build friendships with other Habitat homeowners, learn new skills, and overall share the love that helps make up each home. Being part of all of that is an experience I will forever remember.” said Amy.
